Are you looking for some great party favors for your 4th of July party? How about making some of your own! Your friends and family will love the thoughtfulness and effort that you put in to make sure they had a great 4th of July celebration.
When creating your party favors make sure to make them age appropriate for your guests. You don't want to give a young child a gift that made for older children, just like the older guests won't want items made with little kids in mind.
Sparklers:
Sparklers can be great for older children. Take 5-6 sparklers and tie them together with red, white and blue ribbons. Put all of the little sets together in a box to hand out to the kids in attendance, or add them to individual party bags.
American Flags:
A very popular item to include is small American flags. You can find these anywhere party supplies are sold and are very inexpensive. Attach personalized "Thank You" notes to the little flag pole. This is a nice, welcoming touch, that will last long after the party is over.
Glow Sticks or Necklaces:
This is a great idea for younger kids. These come in a wide range of colors that really help to light up your party after dark. Just put them in a box and hand them out to all kids at dusk.
Candies in USA Colors:
M&M's make a quick, inexpensive party favor that is guaranteed to be a hit with everyone! Separate the red, white and blue colors, wrap them in cellophane with a ribbon and your done. Add these to party gift bags for a sweet surprise.
